Multiple Vehicles – Powerfold And/Or Telescoping Trailer Tow Mirrors- Shakes/Vibrates And/Or Changes Position While Driving
Some 2004-2015 F-150, 2008-2015 F-Super Duty, 2006-2008 Mark LT, 2005-2015 Expedition, 2003-2015 Navigator, and 2011-2015 Explorer vehicles equipped with powerfold and/or telescoping trailer tow mirrors can exhibit mirrors that shake, vibrate and/or change position while driving.
The mirrors may not work properly if manually moved out of position, even after being re-positioned.
Make sure the power mirrors are resynchronized using the power mirror switch prior to beginning normal diagnosis.
Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), and/or the Windows and Mirrors Section in the Owner’s Manual for the Power Mirrors Synchronization procedure.
