2017-2019 F-Super Duty – Whistle Type Noise From Under Hood Under Load And/Or Driving
Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a whistle type noise from under the hood while under load and/or while driving.
Make sure there is a proper connection between the air cleaner lower intake duct, located under the battery tray, and the air cleaner.
Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-12C and WSM, Section 414-01 for further information.
