2017 F-150 3.5L GTDI – Intermittent No Crank No Start, Unable To Shift Out Of Park – Multiple Loss of Communication Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
Some 2017 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L gasoline turbocharged direct injection (GTDI) engine may exhibit an intermittent no crank, no start or unable to shift the transmission out of park along with multiple loss of communication DTCs.
Before attempting repairs, inspect ground G306 to ensure it is properly secured to the frame and tighten as necessary.
Refer to wiring manual ground section 10. If ground is properly secured, proceed with normal diagnostics.
