TSB 16-0103 | MANUAL TRANSMISSION – NO CRANK – BUILT ON OR BEFORE 6/15/2016 |

ISSUE:
Some 2015-2017 Mustang vehicles equipped with a manual transmission and built on or before 6/15/2016 may exhibit a no crank condition due to the clutch pedal position (CPP) switch being damaged.
ACTION:
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Inspect the CPP switch for physical damage. Is the CPP switch damaged?
- Yes – proceed to Step 2.
- No – this article does not apply.
- Install a new CPP switch and bracket. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-14. The switch includes a plastic bracket rotating the connector 90 degrees. (Figure 1)
