2011-2016 Fiesta And 2012-2016 Focus With DPS6 Transmission Have A New Clutch Available For Service – Updated Calibration And/Or Parts list Due 3Q-2016
2011-2016 Fiesta and 2012-2016 Focus with DPS6 Transmission have a new clutch available.
This change affects TCM/PCM calibrations.
2011-2013 Fiesta calibrations have not yet been released, continue to service with BV6Z-7B546-F clutch, perform any reprogramming with IDS Release 101.01 only.
2014-2016 Fiesta vehicles continue to use FA6Z-7B546-A clutch and are not affected by calibration. 2012-2016 Focus can use clutch F1FZ-7B546-B following TSB 15-0120 and FSA 14M01 and calibrations released with IDS 101.02.
Workshop Manuals have been updated to include a Repair Validation Code (RVC) in Diagnosis by Symptom, Pinpoint Test A (Focus, 2014-15 Fiesta), Pinpoint Test N (2011-2013 Fiesta).
RVC Code is not required on warranty claims at this time.
All publications will update soon, when 2011-2013 Fiesta Calibration is released.
Service Information & Reprogramming
Software necessary to program electronic modules to the latest calibration level, perform module initialization (PATS), and set Programmable Parameters on Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.
Ford Module Programming (FMP) is a software application that allows subscribers to program electronic modules on Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. It can be used for:
- Reprogramming emission-related (OBDII) modules on some vehicles manufactured in 1995 and all vehicles manufactured from 1996 to the present
- Reprogramming or reconfiguring non-emission-related modules on many vehicles (UBP and MS-CAN not supported)
In addition, module initialization (PATS) functions such as Keycode Erase/Reprogram and PCM Parameter Reset can be done using this application.
