2011-2014 F-150 – Front Window Sits Above The Glass Molding After Regulator Replacement
Some 2011-2014 F-150 vehicles may exhibit a front window that stops opening approximately 6.35mm-9.52mm (1/4″-3/8″) above the bottom window glass molding after window regulator replacement.
This is a normal operating characteristic of the new power window regulator and motor assembly.
The power window strategy was changed to improve the sound quality of the door when it’s being opened or closed.
No further repairs are recommended for this normal operation.
