6F35, 6F50, 6F55 Transmission Solenoid Body Service Kit Missing the Service Tag
When replacing a Transmission Solenoid Body Service Kit (7G391) on a 6F35/6F50/6F55 transmission, inspect the kit for a Solenoid Body Service Tag.
This Service Tag allows for the correct Strategy Data File to be updated and assists in identification of the Solenoid Body for future calibrations or repairs that may occur when installed over the existing Service Tag on the top of the transmission case.
If there is not a Solenoid Body Service Tag present in the kit, do not use the kit.
Return any kit missing the service tag as defective and order a new Transmission Solenoid Body Kit.
