| HEADLINER RATTLE OR SAG AROUND THE ROOF OPENING PANEL |

Some 2012-2015 Focus vehicles may exhibit a headliner rattle or sagging condition around the roof opening panel.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Remove the headliner.
- Using 3M Super-Fast Repair Adhesive or equivalent, lift the section of the plastic trim ring that has separated and apply a bead of adhesive underneath down the center of the trim ring. After applying the glue for no longer than 10 seconds or about a 25 cm (10 inch) long of a section, hold the trim ring to the headliner until the glue sets. (Figures 1 and 2)
- 3M Super-Fast Repair Adhesive or equivalent has a work time of 20 seconds. If 25 cm (10 inches) or more of the trim ring has separated from the headliner, requiring 10 seconds or more of glue application, do a section at a time and proceed to Step 3 on the opposite side of the trim ring. Return to gluing under the separated section after 1 minute of hold time.
- The adhesive inside the mixing nozzle will harden after 20 seconds of idle time without use. A new mixing nozzle will be needed if additional glue application is required.

- Apply a dab of adhesive in each hole around the trim ring to ensure complete bonding. (Figures 3 and 4)

- Apply a bead of adhesive around the entire outer edge of the trim ring.
- Reinstall the headliner.
