Issue: Some 2016-2017 Explorer vehicles equipped with a manual front passenger seat may exhibit a stuck condition in the full forward position. This may be caused by the seat being moved firmly from the rearward position to the forward position causing the seat track travel restrictor to bend allowing the adjuster bar to become trapped under the travel restrictor.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition.

Service Procedure
1. Remove the front passenger seat track travel restrictor from the outboard side and discard. (Figure 1)

2. Move seat to the full rearward position and install the new seat track travel restrictor. Torque to 12 Nm (106 lb.in).
