2017 F-Super Duty – 6.7L – Illuminated Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) – Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U029D And/Or P2209
Some 2017 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit a MIL with DTC U029D and/or P2209.
This may be due to water intrusion, through the 14406 harness, into the wiring and/or connector for nitrogen oxides (NOx) sensor module 11.
To verify, disconnect the NOx sensor module 11 connector and check for presence of moisture and/or corrosion.
If found, do not attempt to service the connector or harness, replace the 14406 harness and NOx sensor module 11 to repair.
