SSM 46409 – 2015-2017 F-150 SuperCab – Frozen Or Inoperative Rear Door Latch During Freezing Temperatures – Built On Or Before 01-Jan-2017

Some 2015-2017 F-150 SuperCab vehicles built on or before 01-Jan-2017 may exhibit inoperative rear door lower latches during freezing temperatures.

 

The rear door lower latches have been revised to include a water shield and the parts catalog has been updated to show the new numbers.

Replace the rear door lower latches, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-14.

For claiming, use causal part 18264A00 and applicable labor operations in section 12 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.
