2016 F-Super Duty – 6.7L – Dual Generator – DTCs P02CC, P02CE, P02D0, P02D2, P02D4, P02D6, P02D8 and/or P02DA – Built On 26-Oct-2015 And Through 9-Dec-2015
Some 2016 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L and dual generators built on 26-Oct-2015 and through 9-Dec-2015 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with no drivability symptoms and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P02CC, P02CE, P02D0, P02D2, P02D4, P02D6, P02D8 and/or P02DA.
This may be caused by a thickness variation in the accessory drive belt due to a cord shift during manufacturing that resulted in excessive tensioner movement at hot idle with no accessory drive belt loads present.
To repair, replace the accessory drive belt per workshop manual (WSM) section 303-05 then reset minimum fuel mass adaptation and crankshaft position sensor learned values.
