Floor Console Media Bin Door will not Open/Close or is Loose – 2011-2015 Lincoln MKX

FLOOR CONSOLE MEDIA BIN DOOR WILL NOT OPEN/CLOSE OR IS LOOSE

2011-2015 MKX vehicles may exhibit the floor console media bin door that will not open/close or is loose.

 

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove the selector lever trim panel.
2. Remove the media hub.
3. Turn the selector lever trim panel over and remove the media bin, by removing the six (6) screws.
4. Install the new media bin onto the selector level trim panel using the six (6) screws.
5. Reinstall the media hub.
6. Reinstall the selector lever trim panel.
