2015 Lincoln MKC – Dead Battery Due To Welcome Lighting Cycling On And Off – Built On Or Before 1/31/2015
2015 Lincoln MKC vehicles built on or before 1/31/2015 can exhibit a discharged battery due to welcome lighting cycling on and off when the keyfob is left with in detection range of the vehicle.
If the vehicle is built on or before 8/20/2014 reprogram the RTM and the BCM to the latest level using IDS or Ford J2534 version 95.01or higher.
If the vehicle was built on 8/21/2014 and through 1/31/2015, reprogram only the BCM to the latest level using version 95.01 or higher.
Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates.

- Reprogramming or reconfiguring non-emission-related modules on many vehicles (UBP and MS-CAN not supported)
In addition, module initialization (PATS) functions such as Keycode Erase/Reprogram and PCM Parameter Reset can be done using this application.
