Summary
2014-2017 Fiesta, 2015-2018 Focus, 2018-2019 Ecosport vehicles equipped with a 1.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit coolant consumption, white smoke and/or a runs rough condition. Refer to the extended coolant pressure test in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-03. If no external coolant loss is confirmed, further investigation of the integrated exhaust manifold (IEM) interface is required. Carefully inspect the manifold port area for cracks. If a crack is found, follow the cost cap tool for component replacement. Follow WSM, Section 303-01 for the repair procedures

You can select an available radiator cap and install it on the radiator opening, then operate the handpump until the pressure is up to 10-15 psi (note: not up to 35psi). Then please notice the gauge reading, if the reading drops automatically, it means that it leaks in the radiator. The radiator system needs to be inspected and repaired if necessary
- Necessary Accessories: The coolant tester kit includes 1* hand pump with pressure gauge, 10* anodized plastic cap adapters, 3* Chromed steel cap adapters, 1* thermometer, 1* universal tapered rubber adapter, 2* connectors in yellow and white and 1* carrying case.
