SSM 47303 – 2015-2017 Transit – Axle Fluid Leak – Rear Wheel Hub Seal
Some 2015-2017 Transit vehicles built on or before 15-Dec-2017 and equipped with single rear wheel (SRW) or dual rear wheel (DRW) axles may exhibit a fluid leak from the rear wheel hub seal.
Use service part 4C3Z-1S177-D to repair the leak on both styles of rear axle.
Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 205-02B.
For claiming, use causal part 1177 and applicable labor operations in Section 01 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
