2014-2016 Fiesta – Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) – Wrench Light On – No Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) Occur At Oil Change Intervals
Some 2014 – 2016 Fiesta Equipped With 1.6L Engine May Exhibit A Powertrain Malfunction (Wrench)/Service Warning Indicator Illuminated With No DTCs.
The Powertrain malfunction (wrench)/service warning indicator may be illuminated to indicate an engine oil change is due.
If no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are presentin the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) then perform appropriate scheduled maintenance per the Scheduled Maintenance guide.
After maintenance is completed turn off the wrench light by performing the service warning indicator reset procedure.
