45806 – 2016-2017 Escape and 2017 Fusion – Sirius Satellite Radio – Audio Cuts Out/No Signal – Built On Or Before 8/21/2016
Some 2016-2017 Escape and 2017 Fusion vehicles equipped with Sirius satellite radio built on or before 8/21/2106 may exhibit an intermittent concern where the audio cuts out and the radio displays a No Signal message while driving in open sky conditions in certain locations in your area.
This may be due to interference with cellular phone tower signals.
If a vehicle displays this condition near cellular phone towers, replace the audio unit antenna with part number HJ5Z-18936-BA.
