2016 Multiple Vehicles Built With SYNC 3 – SYNC 3 Does Not Use A SD Card For Navigation Equipped Vehicles
2016 vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 do not use a Navigation SD card.
SD cards 
are not used on SYNC 3 systems and SD Cards are non-warrantable items for SYNC 3 equipped vehicles.
If equipped with Navigation, the navigation map data resides in the SYNC 3 Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM).
Unique APIMs are released for SYNC 3 Navigation equipped and non-Navigation equipped vehicles and these APIMs are not interchangeable.
A Navigation APIM cannot be installed on a non-Navigation equipped vehicle in an attempt to add the option.
