| MYFORD TOUCH – VARIOUS FUNCTIONALITY CONCERNS |

2011-2014 Explorer vehicles located in Russia and equipped with MyFord Touch may exhibit concerns with navigation, voice recognition, call sound quality, phone pairing, clock, media, WiFi pass code entry, rear view camera guidelines, no Russian language package and/or poor system performance.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Run OASIS using the vehicle identification number (VIN) and verify there are no open Service Actions. All Service Actions must be completed before attempting to perform this procedure.
- Determine the vehicle’s current accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software level (CCPU S/W).
- On the front display interface module (FDIM), select:
- Menu
- Help
- System Information
- Note the last five numeric digits (e.g. 4.30.14073.PRODUCT) of the CCPU S/W version displayed.
- On the front display interface module (FDIM), select:
- Are the last five numeric digits of the CCPU S/W 14073 or higher?
- Yes – this article does not apply. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) for normal diagnosis.
- No – proceed to SYNC module APIM standard programming procedure.
