Action: Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

1. Is the vehicle built on or before 28-Jan-2018 and does it exhibit a liftgate window glass that opens uncommanded?

(1). Yes – proceed to Step 2.

(2). No – this article does not apply. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-14 for normal diagnostics.

2. Install a new liftgate window glass release switch. Refer to the WSM, Section 501-14.
