Some 2015-2017 Mustang
Convertibles built on or before 1-Feb-2017 may exhibit wear marks or damage to the exterior surface of the convertible top in the area of the front outer edges. This may be due to contact between the convertible top and the tonneau covers that may be installed on the vehicle by the customer when the top is in the open position. If the tonneau covers have been installed on the vehicle, and the wear/damage is located in the area where the tonneau covers overlap the convertible top, replace the convertible top material. Refer to WSM, Section 501-18. Discard the original tonneau covers, and supply the customer with new tonneau covers, part numbers FR3Z-7631004-CB and FR3Z-7631005-CB. For claiming, use causal part 7631004 and applicable labor operations in section 12 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.
