TSB 13-5-33	MIL LIGHT ON – DTCS P0011, P0016, P0015 AND/OR P0017

This article supersedes TSB 12-10-8 to update the production fix date, update the Part List and Service Procedure.

ISSUE:

Some 2013 Fusion and Escape vehicles equipped with a 1.6L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) engine and built on or before 4/1/2013, may exhibit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0011, P0016, P0015 and/or P0017.

ACTION:

Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the concern.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace both variable camshaft timing (VCT) oil control solenoids. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-14.
Replace the PCV hose with the new PCV hose which includes 2.5 mm rubber spacers on the hose.
