2016 MKX – Auto Power Folding Mirrors Cannot Be Disabled – Built On Or Before 11/12/2015
Some 2016 MKX vehicles built on or before 11/12/2015 may not have the ability to enable/disable the auto folding mirrors in the vehicle settings menu of the instrument cluster.
To correct the condition use IDS version 99.02 or higher.
Select Module Programming – Programmable Parameters – Power Mirrors – Enable.
Once the auto folding mirrors are enabled using IDS, the selection to enable/disable the auto folding mirrors will display in the vehicle settings menu of the instrument cluster.
If the auto folding mirrors are disabled in the vehicle settings menu of the instrument cluster, the Lincoln welcome mat will not function.
This is normal operation.
