2016 Various Vehicles Equipped With TorqShift6 Transmission – Gear Whine In First, Second And Reverse Gears – Built On 7/22/2015 And Through 8/31/2015
Some 2016 vehicles equipped with a TorqShift6 transmission and built on 7/22/2015 and through 8/31/2015 can exhibit a gear whine noise in first, second and reverse gears.
This noise can be heard in both drive and coast conditions and is typically worse in reverse gear.
This concern may be due to the number 2 sun gear.
Replace only the number 2 sun gear (BC3Z-7D063-B).
