2013-2017 Explorer/Taurus/MKS/Police Utility/Police Sedan – Exhaust Studs Not Missing

Some 2013-2017 Explorer/Taurus/MKS/Police Utility/Police Sedan customers/technicians may perceive that the vehicle is missing one or more exhaust manifold studs.

 

The cylinder heads are used on various vehicles and not all the bolting locations are utilized on every application.

Please consult the workshop manual sections 303-01 or 309-00 for your specific vehicle prior to making any repairs to the bolting configuration.
