ISSUE:
Some 2015 F-150 vehicles equipped with the multi-contour seat option and built on or before 4/21/2015 may exhibit an inoperative seat adjustment, massage feature and/or a driver multi-contour seat module (SCMG) or passenger multi-contour seat module (SCMH) air pump continually running.
ACTION:
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Does the vehicle exhibit one or more front seats with an inoperative seat adjustment, massage feature and/or an SCMG or SCMH air pump continually running?
- Yes – proceed to Step 2.
- No – this article does not apply.
- Access both the SCMG and the SCMH. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10.
- Removal of the modules is not necessary.
- Use a nylon cable tie at least 254 mm (10 in.) long and wrap one around each the SCMG and the SCMH and each blue connector to secure the connection. (Figure 1)
