2014 Transit Connect vehicles built on 9/17/2013 and through 7/14/2014 with SYNC and MyFord Touch may have VHR and TDI features missing.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Perform the SYNC accessory protocol interface module (APIM) custom programming.
- When the scan tool displays the list of available software applications, make sure the TDI and VHR applications are selected.
- If the system auto-selects several other applications, proceed with the applications auto-selected.
- Select continue and follow the on-screen prompts.
- As programming is being performed several reboots may occur.
- Once the programming is completed, connect the flash drive to the scan tool to report software installation to the Ford online database.
- When the scan tool displays the list of available software applications, make sure the TDI and VHR applications are selected.
