SERVICE PROCEDURE

Perform the SYNC accessory protocol interface module (APIM) custom programming.
1. When the scan tool displays the list of available software applications, make sure the TDI and VHR applications are selected.
  1. If the system auto-selects several other applications, proceed with the applications auto-selected.
2. Select continue and follow the on-screen prompts.
3. As programming is being performed several reboots may occur.
4. Once the programming is completed, connect the flash drive to the scan tool to report software installation to the Ford online database.
