This article supersedes TSB 19-2095 to update the model years affected and the production fix date.
Issue: Some 2019-2020 Edge/Nautilus vehicles equipped with 2.0L EcoBoost engines built on or before
24-Jan-2020 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2282 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This concern may be due to an intermittently stuck open brake vacuum tube assembly causing an uncommanded high air flow intake manifold leak. To resolve the condition, replace the brake vacuum tube assembly.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition on vehicles that meet the following criteria:
- 2019-2020 Edge/Nautilus
- Built on or before 24-Jan-2020
- 2.0L EcoBoost engine
- Only DTC P2282 is stored in the PCM

Service Procedure
1. Replace the brake vacuum tube assembly. (Figure 1)
(1). Disconnect the electrical connector.
(2). Remove the retainer.
(3). Remove the 2 hose retainers.
(4). Disconnect the 3 hose connectors.
(5). Remove and discard the brake vacuum tube assembly. Figure 1
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
