Service Procedure
- Are the front fender auxiliary marker lamp(s) blinking with the turn signal? (Figure 1)
(1). Yes – this article does not apply. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01 for normal diagnostics.
(2). No – proceed to Step 2.
- Open the hood to access the auxiliary marker lamp and connector.
- Remove the connector from the inner fender. (Figure 2)
- Disconnect C1445 (left) or C1446 (right) from the vehicle harness.
- Remove the front fender auxiliary marker lamp by pressing the lamp outward from the backside of the fender. (Figure 3)
- Remove the auxiliary marker lamp grommet from the fender. (Figure 4)
- Remove and discard the auxiliary marker lamp assembly from the fender. (Figure 5)
NOTE: The new lamp should have a Julian date code (YYMMDD) 190215 or later. (Figure 6)
- To install the new auxiliary marker lamp, reverse the removal procedure.
- Repeat Steps 3-8 on the other side of the vehicle as necessary.

Service Procedure
1. Are the front fender auxiliary marker lamp(s) blinking with the turn signal? (Figure 1)
