Lack Of Power With Low Mileage – DTCs P1450, P0441, P0456, P2196, And/Or P2198 – 2016-2017 Ford E-Series

SSM 46970 – 2016-2017 E-Series – Lack Of Power With Low Mileage – Illuminated Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) With DTCs P1450, P0441, P0456, P2196, And/Or P2198

Some 2016-2017 E-Series vehicles that have less than 10,000 miles may exhibit lack of power with illuminated MIL and diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P1450, P0441, P0456, P2196, and/or P2198.

 

This may be due to a contaminated evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve.

Replace the EVAP canister purge valve following Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-13.
