A revised design A/C compressor clutch is available for service.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

  1. Evacuate the A/C system per the procedures in the Workshop Manual (WSM).
  2. Remove and replace the air conditioning clutch disc, pulley, and field coil.
  3. Replace the orifice tube. The evaporator core orifice tube is located in the evaporator inlet line at the condenser-to-evaporator line fitting.
  4. Recharge system with 26 oz. of R134A.
  5. Install new A/C system information decal over the old one on the radiator sight shield. New decal has revised system fill specification.
