Summary
Due to a supplier chip-shortage, 2023 Bronco vehicles built on or before 11-Jul-2023 and equipped with a 6-speaker sound system come with a non-operational rear amplifier. This non-operational amplifier (service part number N2DZ-18C804-B) will not produce sound (by design) from the rear subwoofer. The non-operational rear amplifier and subwoofer assembly will appear identical to a working system. Customers have been notified and compensated appropriately for this change to the vehicle. For more details, refer to the Electronic Field Communication titled Product Offering Changes: Ford Bronco Audio System published on 09-Dec-2022. Vehicles that meet these criteria should not be diagnosed for a symptom related to poor/no performance from the rear subwoofer.

- Power - 1100 Max x 1 @ 2 Ohms, 550 Max x 1 @ 4 Ohms
- Class A/B Topology - Class ‘A’ amplifiers have enormous amount of current flowing through its output transistors with no audio signal. Class ‘B’ amplifiers have no current flowing through its outputs with no audio signal
- Mosfet Power Supply - A MOSFET is an electrical switch that allows the flow of electrical current. It controls the output voltage & current precisely by removing the output current sensing loss & eliminating all secondary feedback circuitry
- Low & High Level Inputs - A low level (RCA) input is measured in voltages. A high level (+/- wire) input is measured in wattages. Both essentially carry signal from your receiver to your amplifier to your speakers
- Variable Low-Pass Crossover - Subwoofers reproduce sound based on a number of different low-range frequencies. You can set exact sound specifications for the bass frequency reproduction
- Class D MOSFET Monoblock Power Amplifier
- Peak Power at 1 Ohm: 1,600 Watts | RMS Power at 1 Ohm: 1,200 Watts
