2011-2015 F-Super Duty Vehicles Equipped With 6R140 (Torqshift6) – Front Pump Service Tip
2011-2015 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with 6R140 Torqshift6 transmission can exhibit additional transmission concerns following a 7A103 pump replacement.
This may be caused by failing to remove the 7A100 main control before removal and installation of the pump.
Failure to remove the main control will damage the 7H249 pump feed seals.
This may result in fluid pressure malfunctions and subsequent transmission damage.
Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01 for correct repair procedures.
