Summary
Some 2020-2022 Corsair vehicles may exhibit a condition where the headliner is loose, warped, bent and/or out of position at the top rear center. This may be due to incorrect positioning of the weatherstrip causing the headliner to shift. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to crimp the weather strip and reinsert the headliner.

Issue: Some 2020–2022 Corsair vehicles may exhibit a condition where the headliner is loose, warped, bent and/or out of position at the top rear center. This may be due to incorrect positioning of the weatherstrip causing the headliner to shift. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to crimp the weatherstrip and reinstall the headliner.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all the following criteria:
- 2020–2022 Corsair
- Headliner loose/warped/bent and/or out of position at the top rear center
Service Procedure
1. Position the weatherstrip into the metal flange. (Figure 1)
NOTE: Keep the affected section of the headliner out of the weatherstrip. (Figure 2)

2. Use a locking sheet metal clamp (Vise-Grip 23) to crimp the weatherstrip, starting at the left top edge of the weatherstrip onto the metal flange. (Figure 3)

CAUTION: Do not clamp the headliner onto the metal flange. Damage to the headliner could occur.
3. Clamp the weatherstrip across the metal flange, moving the width of the clamp each time and ending around the right side of the wiring harness. (Figure 4)

4. Insert the headliner into the weatherstrip to complete the repair. (Figure 5)
