2014-2015 Transit Connect – KOEO DTCs P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P025A, U0109
2014, 2015 Transit Connect vehicles can exhibit KOEO self-test DTCs P0201,P0202, P0203, P0204, P025A and U0109 in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
Check Fuse 22 integrity.
If the vehicle was built before 12/15/2013 and Fuse 22 is intact and the engine is running fine (starts and idles OK with no misfire) check the IDS log viewer to establish the Body Control Module (BCM) part number.
If BCM part number is DV6T-14A073-UF, -UH, -VH, or –VJ delete the codes and turn off ignition.
Restart the engine again and check for continuous DTC’s.
If the DTC’s are not present no further action is required for those DTCs.
The BCM software is setting the DTC in error, only during KOEO self test.
If Fuse 22 is open or the vehicle was built after 12/15/2013, continue DTC diagnostics and/or symptom based diagnostics, as needed.
