2013-2015 Fusion Energi – DTC P0A81 And/Or P0A82 – Open Battery Cooling Fan Fuses F35 Or F36 – Intermittent Battery Draw – Built On Or Before 11/1/2014

2013-2015 Fusion Energi vehicles built on or before 11/1/2014 can exhibit possible DTCs P0A81 or P0A82 stored in the BECM, open battery cooling fan fuses F35 or 36, or an intermittent 12 volt battery draw.

This may be due to a short on the cooling fan circuits.

To verify, remove the driver’s side trunk liner and look for a shorted harness for the take-out to C4434 and C4435 on the HV battery cage bracket.

The bracket attaches the HV battery cage to the body.

Refer to the wiring diagram for the location of C4434 or C4435.

Repair and relocate the harness as necessary.
