Summary
Some 2021 Bronco Sport vehicles built on 01-Oct-2020 and through 31-Dec-2020 could experience a whistle noise coming from the front of the vehicle at highway speeds. To correct this condition, adjust the hood rearward. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 501-03>General procedures>Hood alignment (NOTE: hood to fender gap at base of A-pillar to be no less than 2.5mm to avoid paint chips). Provide approximately 6mm flushness offset between the top of the grille and the leading edge of the hood. After hood adjustment, open and close the hood as validation that there is no contact between the Hood and Fender at the A-Pilar. Conduct a highway drive to confirm whistle noise has been corrected.
