Summary

Some 2020 Transit vehicles built on or before 12-Feb-2020 may exhibit a transmission fluid leak at the transmission fluid cooler. When replacing the transmission fluid cooler, also replace the transmission fluid cooler bracket. Perform the adjustment procedure when reattaching the selector lever cable. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-05. Clear the transmission adaptive tables and perform an Adaptive Learning Drive Cycle using the appropriate scan tool. Refer to WSM, Section 307-01. Advise the customer that this vehicle is equipped with an adaptive transmission shift strategy. When the adaptive strategy is reset, the computer will begin a relearning process. This process may result in firmer than normal upshifts and downshifts for several days and will improve over time.
