Service Procedure
- Remove the underbody shields. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-01D. (Figures 1 – 2)

- Inspect the oil filter adapter. Is an oil leak evident from the engine oil pressure sensor?
(1). Yes – proceed to Step
(2). No – this article does not apply. Refer to WSM, Section 303-00 for normal oil leak diagnostics.
- Remove the generator. Refer to WSM, Section 414-02.
- Remove the oil filter. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01.
- Disconnect the oil cooler lines from the oil filter adapter and discard the O-rings. (Figure 3)

- Replace the oil filter adapter and gasket. Tighten the 4 oil filter adapter bolts to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Connect the oil cooler lines to the oil filter adapter with new O-rings. Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
- Install the generator. Refer to WSM, Section 414-01.
- Install the underbody shields. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01D. (Figures 1 – 2)
- Add engine oil as needed to reach the correct oil level on the
