Some 2017-2020 Lincoln Continentals may require the door latch assembly be serviced. When removing or replacing the door latch utilizing Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-14, be certain to note latch emergency and door lock cylinder cable routing prior to any disassembly. Routing of these cables is critical to proper operation of latch assembly. Once door latch installation is complete, it is recommended to verify all door latch and glass functions to validate proper cable routing and latch installation. Refer to WSM, Section 501-04 illustrations and direction for further information.
