Summary
Some 2015-2018 F-150, 2017-2018 F-Super Duty, 2018 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with a vista roof opening panel may exhibit a concern with the glass panel brackets. The brackets may crack and/or break apart resulting in symptoms that include but are not limited to binding/sticking, glass stuck open or closed, noisy operation including chatter, rattling, or grinding. The roof opening panel glass brackets are available for service as a kit (FL3Z-1651070-C). Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-17 for diagnosis and repair procedures. Make sure the track is free of debris prior to assembly. For claiming, use causal part 1651070 and applicable labor operations in Section 12 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. Labor operations for removal and installation of the glass and glass brackets (guides) apply.
