2016-2018 Focus RS – 2.3L EcoBoost 350PS – Cylinder Head Gasket And/Or Cylinder Head Replacement – Updated Workshop Manual Procedure
Some 2016-2018 Focus RS vehicles equipped with 2.3L EcoBoost engine may exhibit oil seepage at the block to head surface.
The Workshop Manual (WSM) has been updated.
Refer to Section 303-01D. Revised procedure provides (2) additional 8 mm (0.31 in) drops of silicone sealant using Motorcraft Silicone Gasket and Sealant / TA-30 (WSE-M4G323-A4) on the gasket surface.
