2015-2018 F-150, 2017-2018 F-Super Duty – Lack Of Cooling From HVAC System – Low Refrigerant Charge
Some 2015-2018 F-150 and 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a lack of cooling from the heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) system due to a low refrigerant charge.
Using an ultraviolet (UV) leak detection light, inspect the condenser near the receiver/dryer cap for the presence of dye.
If dye is present, replace the condenser.
