SSM 47311 – 2016-2018 Various Vehicles – SYNC 3 – Control 14 Error During SYNC Module Programming
Some 2016-2018 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 may experience a control 14 error code during SYNC module programming.
This is due to selecting additional applications that should not be selected during the programming process.
When programming SYNC, the correct applications are automatically selected and no further selections should be made.
If a control 14 error message is displayed during SYNC programming, please restart the programming process without selecting any applications that are not already preselected.
