2015-2018 Transit – Reduced Outlet Airflow In Fresh Air Mode – Hood Vent Air Duct Plug Location

Some 2015-2018 Transits may exhibit a lack of airflow from the front climate control system cabin vents in fresh air mode.

This concern can be due to improper installation of the hood vent air duct plug.

The correct location for the plug is on the left side hood opening per the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-02.
