2016-2017 E-Series – Rear Axle Fluid Fill Level Check Or Fluid Replacement With Synthetic Lube Is Not Part Of Pre-delivery Inspection (PDI) And Not Warrantable
2016-2017 E-Series vehicles do not require the rear axle fluid fill level to be checked during PDI.
The axle fluid fill level is set by the supplier and the addition or topping off of any fluid may overfill the rear axle housing above specification.
In addition, replacing axle fluid with synthetic fluid will void the axle warranty.
