2016-2018 Focus RS Models Are Shipped With Front Spring Spacers That Must Be Removed During Pre-delivery Inspections (PDI)
2016-2018 Focus RS Models are shipped with Front coil spring spacers that keep the suspension from bottoming out and to provide ramp clearance during shipping.
The vehicle is shipped with a sticker on the windshield and Section 2 in the PDI service record directs the technician to remove the blocks prior to customer delivery.
Failure to remove the spacers will result in a rougher than normal ride and will make noise while driving.
