This article supersedes TSB 13-5-25 to update the Service Procedure.
ISSUE:
Some 2013 Taurus Police Interceptor sedan vehicles may exhibit an illuminated air bag warning lamp with driver seat belt buckle sensor diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B0050:11 or B0050:13 and/or a loose/damaged plastic buckle cover.
ACTION:
Follow the Service Procedure Steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Replace the left hand front safety belt buckle assembly. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 501-20A for removal and installation.
