2017 F-Super Duty – 6.7L – Exhaust Sensor Module Removal And Installation Awareness
Some 2017 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine have the particulate matter sensor module and/or nitrogen oxides (NOx) module 11 or 12 installed using adhesive tape and a locator pin during vehicle assembly.
If removal of any of these components is required for service, the adhesive tape should not be used for re-installation.
To reinstall, utilize pin fastener W717460-S300 to secure the module and refer to workshop manual (WSM) section 303-14 for location.
Two pins are required for the particulate matter sensor module and NOx module 11.
Three pins are required for NOx module 12.
